His scholarly interests are varied, including pediatric psychopharmacology safety, measurement and assessment, policy and professional issues, and interprofessional collaboration. Dr. Kubiszyn is a member of the National Academies of Practice, is an APA fellow, and has served on the Executive Committee of the APA Board of Professional Affairs (BPA). He served as BPA liaison to the APA Board of Educational Affairs (BEA) and the APA Committee for Psychological Tests and Assessments (CPTA), served on the APA Task Force to Revise the APA Psychopharmacology Training Curricula and Related Policies, and has chaired two APA D16 (School Psychology) psychopharmacology task forces. While employed by the APA he also staffed the APA/NASP Interorganizational Committee, The Task Force on Professional Child and Adolescent Psychology (TFPCAP), and the Psychological Assessment Workgroup (PAWG).
